Labor day weekend of 2001, just a week before Sept. 11th, we caught this doubleheader in Pittsburgh. My brother got us hooked up with some great food before the game. We're talking free beer, free prime rib, awesome. Then we went to our seats where we some odd lady who sat next to Miranda. She wasn't totally there mentally. She reacted a bit oddly to the mascot, but the family around her treated her like she was normal, hard to get. She had a large bottom lip and Miranda likes to talk about how she'd rest her chicken wings there as she ate. It was pretty gross. The park is awesome though, one of my favorites definately. We actually left early in the second game cause we had to catch our flight back home. We also walked to the stadium from our hotel across the river. Attending this game was Miranda and myself.

Washington 2 - Pittsburgh 7, win Tom Gorzelanny(8-4), Loss Jason Bergmann(1-5)
Miranda and I left Maya with my parents to drive out to Pittsburgh for a night. We went to the game on Saturday night and enjoyed a comfortable evening at hotel right near the stadium. Then we got up for an awesome brunch at Casbah and an afternoon walk through the botanical garden before driving back home. It was a great time and a nice chance for the 2 of us to get at least one night alone.
