Here's Maya and Miranda in the main square in Frankfurt shortly after arriving.
There are a few soccer fans here, actually it was packed with them. It's a neat looking square though, lots of cool colorful buildings.
This is the fanfest in frankfurt. The main area along the banks were already full when we arrived, so we got on this bridge just to take some photos. Germany was playing, so as you'd suspect it was packed with passionate people. We decided to walk around the town during the match and catch parts of it on one of the many tv's setup outside shops.

Only a few minutes into the match Germany scored the first goal. We got this image of people on the street outside a pub. They were pretty excited.
These two guys were very into the match, and very excited to have their photos taken.
That is about all we could do on the first day. We were exhausted and headed back to the hotel. We made it til about 9 o'clock, then slept for many ours. Up now ready to take on day 2!
